not bad but cs is better
I played csgo for a long time, and reached LEM, and here’s my honest opinion.
The game was made with new players in mind (people who are completely new to FPS). They have simplified the shooting, so it is much less frustrating and feels much cleaner than CS. It feels waaaay more satisfying when you kill someone in valorant than in csgo.
A lot of people say that it has a higher skill cap. I disagree. The abilities (although most disagree) are there as a crutch for new players who have a harder time with nade spots, etc. Take Brimstone’s smokes for an example. Instead of having to learn a complicated grenade throw, you can place the smoke exactly where you want, when you want, without any complications.
It’s things like these that make that skill ceiling that much lower.
I’ve gotten a little off track here, but here is my opinion: I think that it will have less of a competitive scene than csgo, because of that lower skill ceiling, but I think it’s a great game for people who are new to fps to dip their toes in, and get used to that style of a game. I personally really enjoy it, for a casual game with my friends.
Fun game but ruined by brainlets who say shit like “LOL ITS JUST CSGO AND (Insert game with unique artstyle here) LOL BAD”

i mean its a normal game nothing special but the damage is hella retard, pulled a whole clip from a phantom in a guys body and he still lived, i was behind him and sprayed tf out of his back but he still killed me with his fucking shotgun with 1 shot

its literally csgo mixed with fortnite or overwatch, with an intrusive anticheat to top it off
