last night i decided to buy a 90 day sub for csgo. i initially used digseller and then the 5th option down on the type of method you want to use but my bank declined the payment.
Sounds like either that £28000 call was a scam in itself and the timing was a coincidence, or the website (I can’t see stripe anywhere on there?) takes the data and randomly selects people to steal from.
If you’re sure it wasn’t a scam call make sure to get a new card.
Or of course you put your shit in somewhere else, but considering these are random ass payment systems I wouldn’t be surprised.
Reselling store uses Stripe as a payment gateway, reselling store itself doesn’t get and store any information about card numbers, as you input all credentials on the Stripe page.
yeah i thought it wouldnt be that because i’ve used previous cards with that site and it was all fine. the last few hours ive been using test cards from privacy.com which only have a certain limit of money u want on it. im gonna find out how and where in the purchase process my information actually got compromised.
the call wasn’t a scam itself i had an anti spoof call running on my computer and they called me through the banks real support number or whatever so yeah. the bank auto cancelled by card when they got a fraud detection so now i just gotta wait 7 days for the new one to arrive to my house.
im all good i didnt lose anything but i just want to find out how and where in the process i actually got compromised so ive been researching shit all day
