The small note below pertains to the ongoing situation on 2/7 regarding the new cs2 update that is causing the client to crash the game as soon as the software is injected.
Before I get into this, no there is no access to NL at the time I am posting this. (2/7 9:00 AM EST/US I am just trying to pass time and learn some stuff while i can.
I created my own rage cfg, and it seems to be very buggy. I can’t seem to stay at a consistent frame rate that is playable. My FPS seems to be at its worst when all 5 enemy players are alive while my min damage bind is activated… The framerate gets so bad that the lag causes my player model to just stand in place despite any effort I make to move in any direction. As soon as I pull out my knife (without disabling my min damage bind), my FPS goes back to normal and I am once again able to move around and bunnyhop around the map like normal.
I have also noticed that despite min damage being disabled, I tend to experience incredible lag spikes that effect my air strafe bhops and eventually my player model moves so slow that I have to pull out my knife to reduce the lag and gain my speed back. I’ve noticed that this same phenomenon happens no matter which cfg I use. (I kinda hoped it was user error LOL).
I’m going to be upgrading my PC in about a week from now (2/7) so hopefully that will help my issue out to some extent. Any information about what may be causing the excessive lag will be considered and very appreciated!!! I would be very grateful if someone with a significant amount of knowledge about rage cfgs could take a moment to look at my personal rage cfg and tell me what I could change to aid my overall framerate while using my cfg.
when i have magic bullet on it lags me way more than without. try turning that off or setting it to a keybind. other options if that doesnt work would be to lower aimbot FOV or bind ragebot enable to a key
I’m facing this same issue, my frames will be consistent after spawning and once the round starts and I’m holding certain weapons my frames will drop. It happens worst on Anubis. I took a peak at task manager and my game will use the majority of my CPU until it starts lagging, and then it will drop, so it doesn’t seem like a CPU utilisation issue.
My friend also told me it happens worst on Intel CPUs, but I cannot confirm this.
The frame number drops because there are too many multi-point checks in rage, when you check all the boxes and the damage is lowest, you will be crazy to drop frames, while in my cfg, only check the head, stomach, and feet, you will not drop frames, of course, you can check all the parts, but you can follow my check more according to my check, please try it, or try my cfg, you will get a lot of tips, Raise one’s head in half
set up a toggle bind for multipoint to hit only stomach and head
set up a toggle bind for multipoint/point scale to 1
set up a toggle bind for hitboxes to hit only stomach and head
set up a toggle bind to set history to low
make sure all of these are set to the same key.
i have mine set to t so i can simply press t and then bhop without lag. Turn it off when peeking enemies, and try to isolate your gun fights. Unless ur pc is good enough to handle it, thats the only solution i have found.
