From what i saw in the console im assuming its failing to download a vgui / .vmt and it just stops at 6/10 , Would be helpful if someone can help 
To add on to that problem if you try to quit out of cs:go it would just freeze up your pc and not let you do anything .
By freezing i mean screen freezing but everything in the background is still running … BUT you cannot open Task Manager to close cs:go
I just had the same problem, but I just waited a few minutes and It did load. Hopefully this is fixed.

same problem for me but after waiting some minutes it inject. Chatbox on webside does not work as well i think they have some server problems

Yeah, as both of you recommended to just wait a couple of minutes. It worked and it injected after ; Thanks for the temporary solution. Although it would be very helpful if the devs could give it a quick fix

Had the same Issue and contacted the NL support, Apparently all ISPs in some regions (like Italy in my example) fully blocked file transfers from NL servers
