I double click the launcher, select cs2, click load
the bar fills up, client disappears, it shows up in the taskbar for about 20 seconds and then it just goes POOF
steam doesn’t launch itself
steam doesn’t shut down automaticcaly if it’s open
the launcher is just gone
no response and not even any error codes
I have tried auto config launch
i have tried launching with a vpn
i have verified game files
i reinstalled steam
i wiped my %temp% folder
the multi core rendering option is gone with
CS2
i downloaded directx latest version
i download visual C++ latest version
i disabled memory integrity from core isolation
i disabled windows real time protection
i tried reinstalling the client and restarting the pc
i checked that all my drivers are up to date
i have launched steam with the x32 command depicted in other threads about this
i have also tried the taskkill command
as well as launching steam from the cmd windw
the client window bar loades, closes itself, shows up on task manager for about 20 seconds, and just goes POOF
if anyone knows a direct fix to this exact problem, it would be nice to keep thsi thread here so that anyone having the same issue in the future can easily fix it
and yes, i did create a ticket with the logs provided. I will post an update when i recieve a response.
