New windows security update affects NL inject

Hi,

The latest Windows update from 9th January 2024 involves some Security implementations that won’t allow NL to be injected, returning Error [93] with message: “Couldn’t start services, please disable any anti-virus or anti-cheat software.”

I know it’s from the latest Windows update, because I’ve used NL without issues before this update and the antivirus is off and was off.

Same issue occurred to other friends of mine.

Will this be fixed on NL or what’s the good approach on this situation, other than uninstalling the latest Windows update (which I did).

Thanks

I have the same issue without latest Windows 11 update

same here

Again the same problems.
in my case it was KB5034122
The message to turn off the antivirus or anti cheat is actually not the most correct one, I don’t even have Windows Defender, I removed it with Defender Control 2.1, it doesn’t exist on my computer or when the system starts up, but rather from the update as I don’t use any antivirus
In reality this problem has never been resolved, when have a new security update Neverlose has this problem and the problem is that these updates are frequent which becomes quite unpleasant, in my case it was the 9th January 2024 it is a problem exclusive to Neverlose does not happen on other clients, the problem is common to many people.
Many users remove the kb and the kb appears again when restarting the computer and it appears again with the update.
Putting it on pause, turn off memory integrity in windows settings is the same bullshit
The solution found is not good at all, it requires you to remove the update and turn off Windows updates (Windows Update Blocker v1.8) so as not to update again when the computer restart.
I hope this will be resolved one day

Hi, here’s some info that might be able to help you resolve the issue:

  • In the Windows Start menu, search Core isolation and press Enter to open your Device security settings. Toggle Memory integrity off and restart your computer.

  • Then go to Device security and turn off Microsoft Vulnerable Driver Blocklist. ( You must disable HVCI (Memory Integrity) or Smart App Control, or switch the device out of S mode, and restart the computer) before you can turn off the Microsoft vulnerable driver blocklist.)

  • It might also help to disable all of Exploit protection options. To do that in the Windows Start menu, search Exploit protection and press Enter to open your Exploit protection settings alongsite disabling Windows defender/Real time protection as well as making sure no kernel-based anti-viruses or anti-cheats are running in the background.

Let me know if this was able to resolve your issue.

I already know that, the olds PC does already have TPM , and if its less than 5 years old you should have TPM 2.0
The automatic response to my ticket doesn’t help

First of all. It’s not an automated response. Second of all this has nothing to do with TPM lol.

Have u managed to fix the issue? @Toxicomanu
