I bought a NL sub a while ago, did the -ownrisk shortcut thing, turned off all anti virus features on windows and 3rd party, turned memory protection and core isolation. Also replugged ram and cleared %temp% files. Regardless of these steps running neverlose always crashes my pc, screen goes dark and text “your device ran into a problem and needs a restart”, also a text that says Stop code: KMODE EXCEPTION NOT_HANDLED (0x1E) appears on the bottom of my screen, after this my pc restarts on its own and deletes the launcher. Im just wondering if anyone else has encountered this kinda problem and if anyone has a fix for it.
-
Identify the Driver: The BSOD screen often lists the specific file causing the error (e.g.,
nvlddmkm.sysfor Nvidia). -
Update/Reinstall Drivers: Use Device Manager to update or roll back drivers, particularly for network adapters or graphics cards.
-
Disable Fast Startup: Go to Control Panel > Hardware and Sound > Power Options > “Choose what the power button does,” and uncheck “Turn on fast startup”.
-
Run Memory Diagnostics: Check for RAM issues by running the Windows Memory Diagnostic tool.
-
If these steps do not resolve the issue, it may be necessary to check for BIOS updates or, in extreme cases, repair the Windows installation.
